We have built a business on our core mission to help people be their best. We are totally focused on the care of people, communities and the living world around us.
We are also signatories and committed to the UN Global Compact, ILO Declaration, Armed Forces Covenant, Disability Confident and Movement to Work.
We look at the impact we make in a much broader sense than just a health service. We want our patients lives to be changed for the better, we want them to find a better treatment path and we want to help them back to good quality jobs as quickly as possible.
For our own colleagues, we want to create an opportunity for life long learning. We should expect to grow and continually develop skills and practice. Good quality leadership and mentoring should just be the starting point. We have Training teams, an Academy, Apprenticeship Programmes and Degree Courses, a suite of Education Programmes and Clinical Conferences. If you want to push yourself to be the best, you are in good company.
We rely on each other, support each other. Collegiate working is in our DNA, and that extends to the world around us. Health Partners are committed to supporting our communities, our environment and our society. We pay a significant contribution in tax; for the energy sources we can control we will be net zero by next year and support numerous charitable and community programmes.
We work with other businesses and organisations to encourage each other. We run forums, networks and workshops to identify best practice and be a thought leader in building socially and environmentally impactful business.
We have campaigned for more disclosure in annual accounts on healthcare, training and the environmental impact. For many years we have been reporting on governance, environmental impact, professional development and although the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation does not apply to Health Partners, we are starting to align with the approach.
Our activities and strategy are closely aligned to key UN Sustainable Development Goals: All our activities are bound by the common purpose of protecting and developing people and we are committed to advancing workplace healthcare to make a positive and measureable difference to the quality of people’s health and wellbeing.
